Ink Writing Project

The Ink Writing Project is the Halton Hills Public Library’s creative writing contest for young people in grades 4-8 (INKSTERS) and grades 9-12 (INKLINGS).

UPDATE: The results are in! Congratulations to Julianna, Berkeley, Sam, Mikayla, Isabella, Regan, Olivia and Hannah, winners of our 2018 Ink Writing contest! Honourable mentions go to Aaruni, Sebastian, Isabella, Sarah, Olivia, Ash and Sydney. Thank you to everyone who submitted a poem or short story, and thank you to the Friends of the Library for supporting this wonderful event.

 

There are two categories: poetry and short stories.

Prizes are furnished through the generous sponsorship of the Friends of the Halton Hills Public Library.

A final booklet of our winning entries is printed and can be found in the children’s and teen sections of both Library branches.

Entries for the 2018 contest will be accepted from June 1 to July 28, 2018 at 5pm. Entries must be submitted electronically.
